When designing and creating bespoke jewellery and embroideries my travels are a big source of inspiration for me - whether it's exploring other countries, diving into books that showcase the decorative arts of ancient cultures, or visiting museums like the V&A in London.
I have a passion for collecting artifacts, such as old beads and Middle Eastern textiles, and often stitch fragments of them into my own embroideries. I've even sent friends on a mission when on their holiday with a shopping list for the local souks or markets to hunt for little treasures.
