St John's Point Lighthouse .A familiar landmark close to heart and home . It's sweeping beam,symbol of hope and refuge in the darkness.

Note: St John's Lighthouse heritage light is currently under threat .An attempt to downgrade the beam and it's historic mechanism and convert it to LED is currently being planned by CIL .
Campaigners want the current beam,historic Fresnel lens and Bourdelles rotation system protected as a significant example of living history in coastal Co Down .
