Both works explore apocalyptic themes through references to poetry and philosophy. My practice reflects a sustained interest in such themes, often realised through the use of found objects to construct each piece.
Late in the Evening the Strange Horses Came is titled after Edwin Muir's The Horses, a meditation on devastation and renewal:
