In addition to the above opportunities the Academy has organised a series of special events for schools as follows:
‘Meet the Artist’ Key stage 3, 4 or A Level
Students will be given a 45min guided tour, focusing on those works in the same medium as used by the artist. These sessions, which will last about an hour, will include a demonstration and an informal discussion about the artist’s work.
Details to follow once the artists have been confirmed
‘Sources & Inspirations‘ – A Level
‘Sources & Inspirations’ gives AS and A2 pupils the opportunity to hear professional artists talk about the origin and development of their ideas, view original studies of the artists’ work and ask questions. Students will be encouraged to share their own thoughts during the session.
These sessions will run on Thursdays from 11.00am – 12.15pm in the Lecture Theatre (Ulster Museum)
Leaflets outlining all events and activities will be available closer to the time. In the meantime, if you would like information regarding other workshop possibilities or to book a ‘special event’ email email@example.com
