The Royal Ulster Academy 133rd Annual Exhibition will take place at the Ulster Museum, Belfast from the 17th October 2014 – 4th January 2015. With over 70,000 visitors, this long standing event aims to celebrate, enrich and expand contemporary approaches to the visual arts.
The Annual Exhibition showcases works by members of the Academy and works selected through open submission and by invitation. Artists applying through the open submission process can enter a maximum of three works in any medium online, by 11th July 2014. From these entries the Selection Panel will draw up a shortlist of works for delivery to the Academy. The Annual Exhibition will be selected from these shortlisted works.

Over £7,000 in prize money will be awarded to exhibiting artists of merit by an independent adjudicator. Prizes include The Young Artist Prize, Portrait Prize, Printmaking Prize and the Royal Ulster Academy President’s Prize for a full–time student.
